NMS Mechanical contractors have been servicing the needs of Irish and UK  industries since 1999.

  • NMS Mechanical Contractors was established in 2000 by Alan Filan. The company has built strength on strength during its 21 years of trading; this directly reflects our commitment to quality. We work on contracts  ranging from €100k to €5.2m. Our Strategy is one of interpreting our client’s exact requirements and professionally attending to them.
  • At NMS we believe that a professional approach will make us the company of choice in the marketplace for new and existing customers, suppliers and our employees. This has always been paramount in the running of our day-to-day business.

At NMS, we believe our strength lies in the performance of our resources, and we are proud to confirm that we directly employ our Mechanical and Plumbing operatives. In addition, NMS utilise specialist subcontractors from their approved database for related activities; Ductwork, Refrigeration, Insulation and Commissioning.

Here at NMS, we strive to provide ongoing training for all our staff to ensure we have the knowledge and foresight of current standards and qualifications. We also implement an apprenticeship program at both office and site levels, enabling NMS to provide a fully trained workforce 'grown from within', thus providing the high-quality standard of service that our clients expect.

We aim to continually improve our processes and services to reduce environmental impact and, where possible, improve the existing environment. NMS regard their Health & Safety responsibilities as key to their business and are committed to providing the highest standards throughout, directly reflected in our ever-improving incident records. We pride ourselves on the amount of training provided to our staff, which we believe provides the foundations to encourage our employees to improve their safety standards and the standards of those working alongside them. In 2014 NMS established an internal Health & Safety Committee to focus on improving and maintaining these high standards. NMS employ the services of external Health & Safety Consultants to audit and regularly inspect our work to ensure rigid compliance with our and our clients Health & Safety expectations.

We pride ourselves on the amount of training provided to our staff, which we believe provides the foundations to encourage our employees to improve their safety standards and the standards of those working alongside them. We operate a Controlled Installation System that includes Quality Control Numbers (QCN). In addition, our manufacturers' quality audits provide additional checks, which we employ at every site on every product we install. NMS QCN's are given to each of our operatives, who mark every fitting they complete with a permanent sticker carrying their personal number. This level of accountability is highly effective at driving performance standards by motivating operatives to take greater ownership and pride in their work.
