Mater Hospital - Ward Block Extension, Dublin

The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital commonly known as the Mater is a major teaching hospital, based at Eccles Street, Phibsborough, on the northside of Dublin.

In response to the Covid pandemic this, €50m project is for the Rapid Construction of an Urgently required Covid c.112 Bed Unit with ICU Facility.

NMS was appointed directly by sisk to work as part of a collaborative team to deliver MEP to this unique and prestigious development.

Our works include HDPE fusion weld rainwater system throughout the new building, and associated rainwater and foul water slung drainage in the existing underground car park. We also provided the complete installation of the sanitary ware and all associated ancillary work. We also provided the enabling works, which included working within a live environment, interfacing with the public and engaging closely with Beaumont staff and other contractors to complete the works within the tight timescales and with minimal disruption.
